Meuse. The meuse is the mark left in the ground after an animal departs, the grass or dust that bears an imprint of its departed body. It’s also Celtic for smoke and of course a revered goddess. Inspired by Proust and the belief that remembrance of things past is not necessarily the remembrance of things as they were, I’m making a body of work exploring memory, its impact and its decay.

My medium is oil painting, digital and 35M film photography.

Brought up in Switzerland and the UK, I’m German and Irish. I studied at King’s College London and The Courtauld Institute of Art London. And have lived and worked in London, New York and Paris.  Based in New York and Pittsburgh.
